OK, a lots happened in a couple of days.
on friday we went out for Kin's birthday party - at a roller disco! It was good fun and I seemed to remember my skating skils from when i was about 10 years old! The only problem was we couldnt really talk, as everyone was rolling round at different speeds! Jane dropped a bombshell by ever so casually mentioning that her boyf, Chris "wants to go to Thailand to live there....and I think he thinks I'm going too", when i quizzed her - saying, "so, you said no right?" her response was, "I tried to say no, but he didnt seem to hear me, besides, Thailand might be nice." I decided she is just going through some sort of temporary relationship related insanity came home relatively early and read some of related madness and she'll relise that its not a great idea to emigrate with aguy you've my current bedtme story - "diary of a manhattan call girl" and got some beauty sleep.

Ben took me out for oysters and champagne on saturday, and then we went to a nice pub in knightsbridge. I am beginning to think he believes i am a Nice Girl, who is meant to be Treated Properly. Which is wonderfully refreshing, even if i do feel a bit panicked - like he'll suddenly find out that underneath this veneer i'm a fraud - a common chav from da 'Heath (Bexley that is). Not that I have shunned my roots - my best friends now are the ones i had back then, its just i think he thinks i'm a bit posh, like a sloane square girl, and I dont want to dissapoint.

The gay party was wicked, and got to see Jane and her new bloke!! yey! she hasnt been completely hermittified!! Chris - her boy, is lovely and clearly dotes on her! though i still think asking her to go to thailand is a bit sudden - they've only been seeing each other for only 2 weeks.....

I had fun being marylin at the party up until i cunningly tried to re - glue my false eyelashes upstairs - and squirted half a tube of eyelash glue into my eyeball. I then spent the best part of the next hour with my head in the sink and periodically shouting "fuck - god, ow!" and "I'm too young to go blind!!!" in case anyone was wondering where i disappeared to. today i was still finding congealed bits of glue in my eye, and at one point it started twitching, but no blindness yet.

Chinese new year was a bit of a non event - due to rude, uninformed, indoctrinated, sexist condesending pedants (policemen), who were incredibly aggressive to me and Joei, because they were blocking all access to china town, and we needed to get in to reach Thai and co. In the end we went else where, but the bad mood the pigs had created sat like a permanent raincloud over the rest of the day. Joei and Thai had a row on the way back, then patched it up. When we got home we soothed ourselves with Xena dvds and hot choc!!

Today i was a little stressed cos I had an appraisal at work, but it went fine.

looking forward to pancake day, gonna attempt to eat nothing but pancakes all day long! :)
